Cammy's done quite well, but Reptile could use a lot of work. He looks like a Namekian, not the more raptor-ish appearance he has in Mortal Kombat 9. The posing is off as well. This posing makes it highly unlikely that Cammy could escape. A more neutral confrontation would have added to the believability of the piece.
The shading and the colouration is excellent, but in general, the piece lacks much detail, relying on broad strokes of colour rather then any finky work. An alternate costume may have been used to provide more to work it.
yeah. i don't care for voting when there's nothing unique to the end result. i mean how many win poses of reptile or cammy especially have we seen? no fatality takes out the enjoyment and uniqueness to this poll and makes the end result boring. so i won't vote this time cuz i just don't care who wins if there's nothing unique about the win.
I never told I will only draw the win pose... I said I will draw the end (Or I should have said the "last minute" ?) of the fight which can be a 2 or 3 pages comic. So it won't be only the win pose (which is boring, I agree )
So what if Cammy is an assassin Reptile is one too and can do more than just spit acid such as turn invisible, throw force balls, use his slime to glide across surfaces and has centuries worth of fighting experience(he's suppose to be thousands of years old). Sure Cammy may be able to defeat him but I'm pretty sure she isn't walking from this fight without an acid burn or some broken bones.
Just a thought, but why not illustrate both results? I mean, I that would make everyoe happy, right? And you get to an excuse to excersie more artistic talent (not that I think anyone really needs an excuse to draw something; if they want to, they will...probably). Well, that is unless you feel that you just don't have time to draw both outcomes. That's unfortunate, but I don't think it's fair to demand more from you than you are willing or able to do, especially since this is entirley of your own desire to do so, not any obligation you hold. Still, if you think you can do both, go for it! That's just my two-cents.
I see. I hadn't considered that. I suppose that would lower the artistic impact. I guess I was just trying to think if it were possible to satisfy everyone, but I hadn't really considered what it might mean to you in terms of artistic merit. I mean, yes, if both results exist, what is the point of even doing a poll? Further, how is it a statement on what the majority wants if everyone gets their pick? Still, I just thought maybe that way, no one would have to feel disappointed their choice was never realized. Personally, I'd like both since then I get to maul on "What-if-this/What-if-that". I mean, I think that it'd be interesting, because when you leave work ambigous, people can argue over what the true intention was, what the real story is. Which one is the real way things ended, and what is the parody?...Sorry, I'm getting too pretentious for my own good! But yeah, there's no obligation you have to anyone here except that which you make yourself, so ultimately what you decide to draw after the poll closes is your desicion alone. So have fun with it, I guess (Drawing is fun for people who like to draw, right?).
The big question is will Cammy look hotter performing the fatality or will she be hotter as the victim of the fatality? Usually hot women are hotter as the victim of a fight, but this is a fatality so....eh..I'm gonna say Reptile.
